4. How to take Care of the prints?

1. Do not let liquids of any sort touch the prints. For instance keep glasses of water, wine or other drinks away from the prints.

2. The print surface is fragile, avoid touching it.

3. Only archival acid-free materials should touch the prints. Take care as to not bend or kink the prints when handling. Ideally wear soft cotton gloves.

4. Prints should never rub against each other in storage, separate them with non-abrasive interleave sheets such as glassine.

5. Ideally prints should be stored at comfortable room temperature, avoiding high humidity, or large changes in temperature.

6. If the prints are displayed they should be framed under plexiglass. Food for thought: It has been said that it's advisable to limit displaying prints to 3 months per year, but how often is this done in a home setting?

7. Avoid prolonged exposure to florescent light or sunlight. Illumination on the prints should not exceed 5 to 8 foot candles.
