Armless Daddy features characters from Ectoplasmic Kitchen and the future
Semiotic Outback. The title of this image comes from the accidental fact
that the left forearm and hand of the man failed to render, when the file
was sent to the film recorder. It's a kind of night scene - the color
scheme evokes a dark melancholy. Most of the kitchen decorum hovers like
laser beam edge-vectors converging to implied vanishing points. Daddy
and daughter are locked in a serious stare. The little girl is mysteriously
ominous, emergent from the black lonely space. While Daddy is missing
an arm, her arm is extended and her fingers are cupped as if holding someone's
hand, but no one is there.
