The Mandala concept - open packed zoomorphics. Wire-frame concentric squares overlayed with 2 rhombic triacontahedra - all superimposed on a blurry semi-fish eye photograph taken at Athens airport circa 1983. This image and its variants had their public debut as 35mm slide projections at Acevedo's first public lecture, delivered at Pitzer College in April 1990.
