Acevedo: This is based on a photograph of my friend Oliver Rish and one of her friends standing in a large elevator at a NYC party in December 1985. Invoking the swirling energetic whirlpool of compassion and empathy, here pictured is the alchemical vortex manifest via the magic power of the goddess. A print of this was exhibited at the LA Digilantes Retrospective, August 1997.
