Acevedo: Here's a portrait i did of my friend, actress and performance artist Cynthia DeMoss in the year 2000. It was named after the title of a performance she staged in New York City at a semi-underground club called Baktun at 418 W. 14th Street in the Meat Packing district. It is an area of town that later became quite fashionable, as we moved into the new Century.
